The Goals of our Governmental Agencies
The goals of the governmental agencies of New Scotland are to maintain national and international peace between our peoples and the peoples of all nations of the world; to maintain order and resist and repress civil disarray, disorder, and war; to resist and repress international wars and aggravated affairs.
Agency of Her Royal Majesty's Household
The goal and responsibility of the Agency of Her Royal Majesty's Household is to see that Her Royal Majesty's image of sovereignty and majesty is eternally preserved and to see that Her Royal Majesty's residence(s) run smoothly and effectively internally and externally, and within cooperation of all of Her Royal Majesty's and New Scotland's Agencies.
Agency of Healthcare
The goal of the Agency of Healthcare in New Scotland is to maintain health and well-being of all New Scotlandish peoples. To achieve and maintain such, the Agency of Healthcare is in need of citizens whom are in the healthcare profession and are licensed to act as such professionals. Also, advisers to Her Royal Majesty to represent the Agency and the peoples of N. S. are in great need.
Agency of Education
The goal of the Agency of Education is to maintain proper education for all New Scotlandish peoples, of whatever age, race, religion, origin, etc. Her Royal Majesty, Our Most Gracious Queen has sole dictation over this Agency.
Agency of the Military
The goal of the Agency of the Military is to organise all factions of the New Scotlandish military, including the Army, Navy, and National Peacekeepers (an equivalent of the American National Guard serving within and without the United States of America). Though it is the goal of all N. S. Peoples and the N. S. Government to maintain peaceful relations with all other peoples and nations, should a military or militaristic action become necessary, this Agency will be found to be most helpful. Queen's Privy Council
The goal of the Queen’s Privy Council is to advise and council the Queen in domestic and foreign affairs and act as Her Majesty’s go-between with the other governmental agencies of New Scotland. They shall work cooperatively with all other agencies of the New Scotlandish government and also provide representation of the aforementioned as well as for the peoples of New Scotland and other nations of the world.
Her Royal Majesty's Ambassadors are constituents of this branch of the New Scotlandish Government as well as belonging to the Agency of Ambassadors and International Affairs.
Privy Council of the Royal Children
The goal of the Privy Council of the Royal Children is to advise and council the Royal Child(ren) in all manners of government, education, etc. as well as look after thier well-being. As such, officials included in the Privy Council of the Royal Children will be a governess and/or governor, tutors, astrologers, etc.
Agency of Ambassadors and International Affairs
The goal of this agency is to organise and appoint ambassadors to foreign nations and officials of foreign affairs as approved by Her Royal Majesty. Also, this agency shall be a faction, or branch, of Her Majesty, the Queens Privy Council. It will work with the press to help inform the people of foreign dealings and affairs, as well as how their government, the government of New Scotland, is involved.
Agency of the Economy and Trade
The goal of the Agency of the Economy and Trade is to maintain a healthy balance of economical and trade-wise representation and council for Her Royal Majesty, the government, and the peoples of New Scotland. In order to achieve and maintain this goal, this agency shall work with the banks and all other financially inclined businesses (stores, markets, traders and merchants (independent and non), etc.) as well as with Her Royal Majesty, Our Most Gracious Queen to help keep Her Royal Majesty and the peoples informed of all economical and trade dealings as well as maintain and manage all financial dealings themselves. Also, it is this agency’s responsibility to design, create, and distribute New Scotlandish moneys throughout the realms of N. S.
Agency of Internal and National Affairs
The Agency of Internal and National Affairs’ goal is to maintain peace and prosperity throughout the realms of New Scotland and its peoples, and to help keep the peoples, as well as all those involved with the N. S. Government well informed of the dealings of the Nation within itself.
Agency of Ecology and Environmentalism
The goal of this agency is to maintain a healthy and proper balance of the environment with the peoples of New Scotland. Another goal of the nation of N. S. is to keep a steady balance of civilised human life and a healthy environment. In order to do as such, this agency shall assure that the nation does not rise to any form of occasion or ability to raise itself to and higher than the time period of the Industrial Revolution of the World in the time of Queen Victoria's reign in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. In other words, it is the duty of this agency, as well as all other agencies and dealings of the N. S. government to maintain and assure that the country and peoples of N. S. do not live in any other way besides that of the 16th-18th centuries.
Agency of the Press, News, and Current Events
It is the goal of this agency to keep all peoples and governments of the world well informed of the current events of New Scotland and to keep all peoples of N. S. and the government of N. S. well informed of the current events of all other nations and peoples of the world. Also, this agency shall maintain and assure that the press has freedom of speech as mandated by Her Royal Majesty, Our Most Gracious Queen and Sovereign. These guidelines are as follows: the only inhibition of the press and all its dealings is that it may not slander, create rumours or gossip, or in any other way belittle the nation and/or form of government of New Scotland or its peoples and citizens, under pain of jurisdiction and judgement of the law as Her Royal Majesty sees fit concerning the length and depth and injury of the crime.
Agency of Religion and Religious Representation
The goal of the Agency of Religion and Religious Representation is to act as a sort of Representative form of governmental faction for the many and various religions of New Scotland, as the nation has freedom of religion. The nation of N. S. does not seek, in any way, to convert or change any citizens or people to any one religion, Her Royal Majesty being a firm and immovable believer that there is no one religion that is correct and proper for all peoples of the world or even the peoples of one nation. Peoples of all religions, races, etc. are welcome to become citizens of New Scotland, and all whom are willing are encouraged to do so. It is also this agency’s responsibility to maintain a list of all the religions being practiced within New Scotland, and to keep a record of all changes in religion and religious dealings of the peoples, etc. and to report them to Her Royal Majesty, Our Most Gracious Queen every three months and the same to the Agency of the News, Press, and Current Events every month for statistical and other purposes.
Agency of the Post
It is the purpose and goal of this agency to design, create, and distribute postage stamps for international use; transport and deliver the post nationally and internationally; and all other related tasks in all the realms and jurisdictions of New Scotland and internationally.
Agency of Lawyers for Governmental Crimes
This agency’s purpose is to prosecute all criminals against the New Scotlandish government, i.e., traitors, heretics, etc. to the fullest extent of the law, determined by the heinousness of the crime(s) committed as declared by Her Royal Majesty. This agency works cooperatively with Her Royal Majesty's Judicial Court.
Agency of Lawyers for Civil Crimes
This agency has the purpose to prosecute all civil criminals (criminals whom have committed a crime, but not a crime against the government), i.e., thieves, burglars, murderers, rapists, etc., to the fullest extent of the law, determined by the heinousness of the crime(s) committed as declared by Her Royal Majesty. This agency works cooperatively with the Peoples' Judicial Court, the sister branch of Her Royal Majesty's Judicial Court.
Her Royal Majesty's Judicial Court
It is the duty, responsibility, and goal of this agency to fairly and justly try all Governmental Criminals, i.e., heretics (pertaining to the practice of religions deemed unfit or unfair by the government of N. S., religious peoples whom have attempted to forcefully convert other citizens, etc.), traitors, and all other criminals against the government of N. S. This court does not consist of a jury and a single judge, but five judges and it completely lacks a jury. The majority of the judges’ verdict is the ruling of this court. The Supreme or First Judge of this Court is Her Royal Majesty or, when Her Royal Majesty is unavailable to be present, Her Chief Minister.
The Peoples' Judicial Court
As the sister branch of Her Royal Majesty’s Judicial Court, it is the duty, responsibility, and goal of this entity to fairly and justly try all Civil Criminals, i.e., petty criminals and all criminals whom have not committed crimes against the Crown and/or Government of New Scotland. This court consists of a jury of fifteen New Scotland citizens and a single judge. The majority of the jurors’ verdict is the ruling of this court.
Trade Guilds
*Note: One is not required to be a member of a Guild to practice a craft, work, or art, but if one should choose so to do, they shall be known as an Independent Worker and may or may not receive the same benefits and privileges as those persons whom are members of their respective Guilds.
Jeweler's Guild
The members of the Jeweler's Guild include "jewelers", this term referring to those persons whom form things from jewels and precious metals; i.e., crowns, rings, necklaces, and all manner of jewelry. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Diamond-Cutter's Guild
The members of the Diamond-Cutter's Guild are those persons whom find and cut diamonds from the mines, and those persons whom form the diamonds into specific shapes, including the reshaping of diamonds and, at times when needed, other precious stones and jewels, for the jewelers to use in their crafts and works. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Goldsmith's Guild
The members of the Goldsmith's Guild are those persons whom mine or buy gold to melt it down and form it into the required shapes, etc. for the jewelers in their crafts and works and for the money-minters in their craft(s). This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Silversmith's Guild
The members of the Silversmith's Guild are those persons whom mine or buy silver to melt it down and form it into the required shapes, etc. for the jewelers in their crafts and works and the money-minters in their craft(s). This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Platinum-Worker's Guild
The members of the Platinum-Worker's Guild are those persons whom mine or buy platinum to melt it down and form it into the required shapes, etc. for the jewelers in their crafts and works. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Iron-Worker's Guild
The members of the Iron Worker's Guild are those persons whom mine or buy iron to smithy it, and form it into armour, tools, etc. for various other Guilds and their trades, crafts, and works. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Farmer's Guild
The members of the Farmer's Guild are those persons whom farm their land for a living, selling their produce, livestock, harvests, meats, etc. for a profit. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs and the Agency of Ecology and Environmentalism.
Vintner's Guild
The members of the Vintner's Guild are those persons whom grow and farm vineyards for the production of wine and champagne to sell for a profit. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs and the Agency of Ecology and Environmentalism.
Glass-Worker's Guild
The members of the Glass-Worker's Guild are those persons whom blow glass to form it into various products, and also work with the Painter's and Artisan's Guilds to create stained-glass for various projects. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Merchant's Guild
The members of the Merchant's Guild are those persons whom sell products and wares and services in the various marketplaces of the towns and cities of New Scotland. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Painter's Guild
The members of the Painter's Guild are those persons whom are appointed to create the likeliness of various peoples, places, and objects at the patron's discretion, and to take on other such works requiring painted works, such as working with the Glass-Maker's and Artisan's Guilds to create stained-glass works. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Artisan's Guild
The members of the Artisan's Guild are those persons whom specialise in various forms of hand-made products, and also work with the Glass-Maker's and Painter's Guilds to create stained-glass works. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Exporter's and Importer's Guild
The members of the Exporter's and Importer's Guild are those persons whom specialise in exporting, importing, and transporting goods nationally and internationally. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade, the Agency of Internal and National Affairs, and the Agency of Ambassadors and International Affairs.
Wood-Carver's Guild
The members of the Wood-Carver's Guild are those persons whom specialise in carving wood and works made out of wood, and also of those persons whom are lumberjacks. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Inn-Keeper's Guild
The members of the Inn-Keeper's Guild are those persons whom own bed-and-breakfasts from their homes or own inns and/or taverns and are responsible for the hospitality field of New Scotlandish employment. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: the Agency of the Economy and Trade and the Agency of Internal and National Affairs.
Instructor's, Teacher's, and Tutor's Guild
The members of the Instructor's, Teacher's, and Tutor's Guild are those persons whom educate (and de-educated, when need be), the people(s) of New Scotland. This Guild is a faction of the Agency of Education.
Lawyer's Guild
The members of the Lawyer's Guild are those persons whom represent plantiffs and defendants in Civil and Governmental crimes. This Guild is a faction of the Agencies of Lawyers for Civil Crimes and Lawyers for Governmental Crimes.
Judiciary's Guild
The members of the Judiciary's Guild are those persons whom are judges of the Civil and Governmental trials. This Guild is a faction of the Agencies of Her Majesty's Judicial Court and The Peoples' Judicial Court.
Armourer's Guild
The members of the Armourer's Guild are those persons whom work metal(s) to create armour for battle, Governmental/State occasions and processions, etc. This Guild is a faction of the following Governmental Agencies: Agency of the Military, Agency of Ambassadors and International Affairs, Agency of Internal and National Affairs, and Agency of Her Royal Majesty's Household.

If you are applying to be an Independent Worker please specify as such, and also specify your qualifications for the craft, work, and/or art you are applying to be recognised for.
